How Our Counselling Sessions Work

  • Once I receive an inquiry contact from you, we’ll arrange a time to meet for a free 20-minute video call assessment session. All therapy sessions are done via Zoom. We’ll have the opportunity to discuss what’s going on in your life and what you hope to get out of therapy, and explore the best way forward.

  • The next session will be 50 minutes. It’s important to me that you feel safe in discussing anything and it’s important for you to find a therapist that is the right fit.

  • If you wish to move forward with our sessions, we will set up a regular schedule of 50-minute sessions that works for you. The number of sessions you will be in therapy is up to you. I have had some clients for one session and some for 20 sessions or more. The average is around 8 sessions. When you're ready to end our therapy sessions, we can set a date to discuss and reflect on your progress.

My therapeutic approach

I offer evidence-based psychological interventions in a relaxed, non-judgemental environment.

I use an integrated approach that combines Humanistic, Psychodynamic, and Cognitive-Behavioural techniques to create a framework. I also incorporate Mindfulness & Somatic Therapy. Your treatment plan will be personalised to your needs and tailored to you as an individual.

It's important to me that you feel comfortable and safe, and that our sessions provide you with a non-judgemental space for counselling.

There isn't a "one size fits all" approach to therapy, and everyone’s mental health journey is unique. Our sessions will fit your specific needs and concerns.
